Outrange Farm Publications is located near Bethlehem, Maryland, USA. Our office is located on our farm which has been in the family since 1857. We are real people who believe in doing business the old fashioned way. Our customers are our friends.
We are publishers of Engineers & Engines, a bi-monthly magazine for all antique steam, gas, tractor, railroad, locomotive and farm machinery enthusiasts. Engineers & Engines was started in 1955 by Tom Smith of Joliet, Illinois and was later purchased by Don Knowles, also of Joliet, who published the magazine until his retirement 2004. Brenda Stant purchased Engineers & Engines from Don Knowles in December 2004 and continues to publish it from her office which is located in "the old storehouse", a building in which her great-grandfather operated a store on the farm in the early 1900s.
In addition to Engineers & Engines, we also have a variety of reprints of various catalogs and instruction manuals for antique steam and gas farm equipment. New for 2008 is a line of Holiday Christmas Cards featuring four steam traction engines. We hope to expand this line in the coming years.
If you have any comments or questions, please feel free to contact us. We will be glad to hear from you.
